This is just a short update of some recent going ons that may be of interest to you.
I have some new articles up on Guitar-Muse and some more on the way.
In other GM news, player profiles continue with lessons from the works of Ridgely Snow, Vlatko Stefanovski and José Peixoto. An interview with Ken Kantor (ZT Amps) has ben conducted and should be up soon and upcoming interviews with Magic Band guitarist/bassist/ Jack of all Jacks Eric Klerks and bassist/composer Darren Burns will get scheduled soon. A cd review are also on the docket.
I’m currently finishing up work on commissioned soundtrack for Page Of Madness (aka A Page out of Order) which will be part of the CalArts library. The Rough Hewn Trio Ep will be done before the end of the year and I plan on finishing my acoustic guitar EP by then as well. I’m slated to be on a future Mandorla net release compilation and on the new Onibaba recording before the end of the year as well.
I’m currently putting the finishing touches on a book of music business essays for Kindle. There’s a project management book (also for Kindle) that’s getting a heavy revision and a Pentatonic lesson series I’m experimenting with. If that experiment goes well – I may adapt my modal approach into a short lesson series. I’ll have to see how it goes…
Book – Books
For those of you who still like physical books, I’m planning on a relaunch for the 12-Tone improvisation book that will be more directly related to guitar. I’ve already done the bulk of the revision and now I just have to clean up the examples and text further. I hope to have it out on Lulu in time for Christmas.
In other words, a long series of days and nights ahead….hopefully with some good things to show for it.
Right now I’m getting over a cold so it’s more cold medicine and then back to this page of madness score.
As always, thanks for reading!
